Ankim Shah – Chief Executive Officer
Prior to forming RBS Hospitality, Ankim developed a private equity investment group that has syndicated real estate and business investments. Currently, assets under management total $45 million and include hospitality, multifamily, office, strip mall, real estate development properties, and operating businesses such as construction, energy audit and lighting solutions, child daycare, and banquet facilities. Ankim has led the acquisition, capitalization and management efforts of the portfolio. In addition, Ankim operates his own boutique law firm, SHAHDESAI, PC, where he provides the personalized attention and sound advice to his clients and community in the areas of Commercial Real Estate, Finance and Hospitality Law to assist his clients and RBS Hospitality Owners with their asset transactions, legal concerns and financing issues. Ankim is able to represent RBS Hospitality’s Owners and clients in commercial real estate, hospitality and business transactions throughout the United States. Ankim earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Rutgers School of Law – Newark and his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Michigan in Economics and Political Science. Ankim is a member of the New Jersey and New York Bar Association, a member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and a legal counsel to the Asian American Retailers Association (AARA). As an attorney who has developed a law practice while building a real estate and business portfolio, Ankim brings a unique benefit to RBS Hospitality’s management of assets, which allows us to be a truly full-service management partner.
Jim Bokosky – Chief Operating Officer
Jim is a seasoned operator with a background that includes GM /regional director of operations/SR VP of operations positions overseeing hotels such as, Hampton Inns, Holiday Inns, Hilton Hotels, Sheraton Hotels, Embassy Suites, Clarion, Radisson, and Wyndham Hotels, as well as upscale boutique hotels and resorts. Jim recently held the position of SR VP of Operations for 7 years at a mid-sized hotel management company overseeing a portfolio of up to 18 hotels, consisting of Branded, Independent, and large Resort properties up and down the East coast and in the Caribbean, before joining RBS Hospitality. During more than 25 years in the hospitality industry, Bokosky has teamed up with themed restaurants, spas and comedy and jazz clubs to refine the “Brand within a Brand” approach to optimize additional revenue and profit. He has served on the Pennsylvania Tourism Bureau, Greater Reading Convention and Visitors Bureau, Reading Economic Development Bureau, and Lehigh Valley Convention and Visitor Bureau.
Lisa White – Chief Marketing Officer
For over 20 years, Ms. White, a leader in the Hospitality Industry with diverse experience, internationally, in the European, South American and the Caribbean markets, as well as domestically. Her experience is in all hotel and resort disciplines, as a Regional Director of Sales for up to sixteen hotels and resorts, General Manager of full service hotels and Director of property sales and marketing. Her passion is in sales and marketing, revenue management, e-commerce, strategic planning and development, and leveraging brand resources to gain market share. Prior to joining us, Lisa has contributed positive results with Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, IHG, SuperClubs Resorts, Virgin Atlantic and several independent and boutique assets. She has created and implemented realignment procedures to gain guest loyalty and increase top line revenues. She has earned countless Sales and Service Industry Awards for top performance and for her ability to drive sales revenues through pro-active sales initiatives, creative marketing, value packaging, revenue management and strategic deployment of sales personnel with a concise understanding of overall property revenue channeling. Her solid industry, guest and vendor relationships have assisted in leveraging assets within branded and independent property portfolios. She has built, mentored, coached and directed successful, results proven sales teams. Ms. White’s extensive and diverse experience, leadership, strategic planning and commitment for excellence to our industry is what continues to drive positive results. She has sat on the Board of Directors for the Montgomery County Community College and Lehigh Valley College of Hospitality Management programs, as well as on the Endless Mountain Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, providing innovative and strategic planning for our industry’s future leaders. She has been an active member of the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, ASTA, IAAP and MPI and has partnered with several non-profit organizations.
Shaila Parekh – Chief Financial Officer
Shaila Parekh, a 15-year Veteran in the Finance and Accounting industry, brings anextensive background in Hospitality Finance and Accounting. Shaila’s passed experience of overseeing a group of 10-15 select service and full service hotels has gained her the experience necessary and is poised to grow her portfolio in the oversight of additional properties. The responsibility for maintaining a smooth financial landscape across all RBS Hospitality Group managed properties lies with the Chief Financial Officer.
Shaila oversees all financial planning, recording and record-keeping for All RBS managed properties. A Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an alumni of Deloitte, Shaila earned her Master of Science degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University, New Jersey and her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Baruch College, New York.
